My name is Nicholas John Ives.Born 24 February 1941. I am the oldest son of Archibald Charles  Ives and 
 Annette Miles Ives, nee Verrall.Archie was the only son in his family and consequently I am the  oldest 
 in the Ives branch of this family.Over the past years various members of the Ives and Verrall  families 
 have collected  or written down some of the information that has gone into the compiling of this  family tree. Originally I was only going to start from my grandparents and work down to the  present 
 day but so much earlier info has come through that I have gone back further.If anyone reading  this has
